Rest and peace. The Mountain Cottage is well equipped and privately located. Between walking on the farm, braaiing and sitting in the hot tub, our weekend was very peaceful! We were warmly welcomed by Dominique, who showed us the way to the cottage. Oom Koos's padstal was also a nice nearby discovery with droëwors, jams, pies etc.

Gorgeous, reconnecting, rejuvenating. A fantastic stay, reconnecting with nature and the mountains. Facilities were great and we will be back. The riverside cottage was a gem. Such a beautiful, peaceful spot not far from Montagu, surrounded by mountains and fynbos — the perfect romantic escape. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Dominique, who showed us around and made us feel right at home. The attention to detail was next level — our place was spotless, beautifully prepared, and even had fresh flowers and fresh water waiting for us. A special mention to Dominique for the most delicious cheese platters prepared for both Friday and Saturday — such a thoughtful touch and absolutely yummy! The service from beginning to end was outstanding, and thanks to Dominique, Lillian, and Tatiana, this was honestly one of the best weekends away we’ve ever had.

Phenomenal breathtaking. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The host was amazing; she's friendly and a people's person. I will go there again should I get a chance. You can hear your partner's inner voice; that's how quiet it was. It was really amazing staying there. The fresh air, I just love everything about Porcupine Peak. The only thing was the TV was not connected, but that was not a big issue.
