Ons het die stilte en beeldskone natuur van die Karoo ervaar. Ons het vreeslik lekker gekuier. Ons gasvrou was baie behulpsaam en het seker gemaak ons weet waar is alles om vir ons die naweek so gemaklik as moontlik te maak. Die plekkie is baie goed ingerig; jy het regtig net jou kos en klere nodig. Daar is 'n bar op die perseel waar jy wyn kan koop as dit dalk te min raak. Die warm buitebad was 'n heerlike ervaring as jy lief is om na die sterre te lê en kyk. Ons kan dit beslis aanbeveel.

Beautiful, peaceful setting and cottage. Would highly recommend Mountain Cottage for anyone wanting to connect with nature and yet still experience all the home comforts. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the hosts very accommodating and friendly.

Rus en vrede. Die Mountain Cottage is goed toegerus en privaat geleë. Tussen die stap op die plaas, braai en in die hot tub sit, was ons naweek baie vredevol! Ons was vriendelik ontvang deur Dominique, wie ons die pad gewys het na die kothuis. Oom Koos se padstal was ook 'n lekker naby ontdekking met droëwors, konfyte, pasteie ens.

Gorgeous, reconnecting, rejuvenating. A fantastic stay, reconnecting with nature and the mountains. Facilities were great and we will be back. The riverside cottage was a gem. Thank you for the information, the flexibility and the friendliness of Dominique who really made us feel looked after and cared for.

Fantastic. Great service. Great views. Best time. ️️️️️ 5-star review – Porcupine Peak Farm. What an amazing weekend away at Porcupine Peak Farm! Such a beautiful, peaceful spot not far from Montagu, surrounded by mountains and fynbos — the perfect romantic escape. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Dominique, who showed us around and made us feel right at home. The attention to detail was next level — our place was spotless, beautifully prepared, and even had fresh flowers and fresh water waiting for us. A special mention to Dominique for the most delicious cheese platters prepared for both Friday and Saturday — such a thoughtful touch and absolutely yummy! The service from beginning to end was outstanding, and thanks to Dominique, Lillian, and Tatiana, this was honestly one of the best weekends away we’ve ever had.
