Port Owen Marina is situated in Velddrif on the Cape West Coast. The well-furnished self-catering apartments and chalets of the Port Owen complex are located on the banks of the marina.
Guests can choose from a 1-bedroom apartment, a 2-bedroom apartment, a 2-bedroom chalet or a 2-bedroom superior chalet. Selected apartments have a second bathroom for guests convenience. The appliances include a microwave oven, washing machine, fan, tumble dryer, dishwasher and TV with selected DStv channels. Some units feature a balcony or terrace, depending on the configuration, and a private braai area. All apartments are serviced daily, except for Sundays and public holidays.
There are numerous on-site activities for the whole family. Establishment facilities include a restaurant, swimming pool, playground area, boating, sailing, a games room and mini golf. Most apartments have access to a jetty and guests can bring their own boats, as well as watersport equipment.
Port Owen Marina is just 150 km from Cape Town Airport and minutes from the fishing village of Laaiplek. The area is a birding hotspot.
