Rendezvous was perfectly located for our stay during a wedding over a long weekend, but expensive for what you get. The place was neat and clean, but there are no towels or extra blankets, the one single blanket we could find was dirty and could not be used. There is no WiFi or cell phone reception. According to the advertisement we could bring our dog, but after the booking and payment, this was not correct. We had to make an alternative plan with our dog. Thank you for your valued feedback.
The units that we rent out are furnished and equipped by the owners as per their liking, and unfortunately unit 13 does not supply towels. There are fleece blankets on each bed, but I will ask the owner if we could purchase warmer ones for colder days.
I am aware that the Wi-Fi and cellphone reception is not good in that complex, but there is reception if you are close to the patio area. However there are other units in the complex that have fibre installed, so if you needed Wi-Fi you could have booked unit 3. We are not aware of any dirty blanket in a cupboard but I will follow up with our housekeeper and make sure it is removed and washed.
Unfortunately when I contacted the owner of this unit she does not want any pets staying there. We spoke about it and you said it was fine, that you will make another plan with your dog, otherwise I could have moved you to another unit that allows pets as we have a wide range of pet-friendly accommodation. I know that the owners of that complex may bring with their own pets and certain of the units do allow small pets, as far as I know one small dog is allowed. There have been previous issues with pets so I know they made the rules stricter, which includes imposed fines if litter is not picked up, but unfortunately this unit does not allow pets.

Very weak water pressure, especially in the shower. Almost no cellphone reception and therefore no 3g or 4g reception, therefore no Hotspot, no laptop work can be done. TV not available unless one rents a non-HD decoder from a shop in Margate. No PVR or Explora antenna or connection available. Only a Weber as a BBQ option. No bottom grid available. Very basically equipped for the price.

I checked with the caretaker and the water pressure was low as there was a water break over the weekend and you were on tank water for a while, not municipal water.
The cellphone reception is somewhat of an issue in that area, but if you go closer to the patio people normally pick up reception, and owners always arrive with their own router and have internet reception, so I am really not sure why you were unable to pick up any reception, it could possibly be because of the bad weather?
The TV is advertised as not having DSTV and that you can hire or bring your own HD decoder, but unfortunately it is not PVR or Explora compatible.
The Weber braai is for the guests to use if they want to braai on the patio, but there are also other braai facilities at the swimming pool area.
We hope that, even though you had a few hiccups with the accommodation, that we will be able to accommodate you in future?
