Raptor Ridge Lodge is a unique accommodation establishment situated on the Free State side of the Gariep Dam, bordering the Gariep Dam Nature Reserve. Accommodation is offered in 4 private units, each furnished with either single or double beds and featuring an en-suite bathroom. Every unit opens onto a private porch with panoramic views of the surrounding Karoo landscape and the Gariep Dam, creating the perfect setting to relax and unwind.
To preserve the peaceful atmosphere and natural surroundings, the lodge operates on environmentally friendly solar power and gas, enhancing the off-grid bush experience while still offering essential comforts.
Boiling water is provided for guests’ convenience.
Guests can enjoy access to braai facilities and a communal kitchen with fridge space available by prior arrangement.
The Gariep Dam area offers a variety of outdoor activities, including birdwatching, cycling, mountain biking, hiking trails, stargazing, and game viewing by prior arrangement, making Raptor Ridge Lodge an ideal stop for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
