Peaceful and a good vibe whether keeping to myself or otherwise. My stay was delightful. The cottage and garden are very charming, private, and comfortable with all my needs covered. The owners were very generous and attentive in every way, ensuring I had a good stay. I will come again next time I visit their small town, country paradise, horseback riding in and around Walker Bay Nature Reserve.

Bright, comfortable stay in the heart of Stanford. Rhus Cottage is very comfortable, well-equipped, eclectically decorated, and centrally located. Excellent for our short stop in Stanford. We were welcomed on arrival, then left to ourselves. Felt very secure, loved the garden and the birds.

Eclectic accommodation, good hosts and excellent location. Good value for the price - only suggestion would be that the bed should be wider to accommodate two adults.

Very good. Comfortable, welcoming, cozy and very conveniently close to the centre of town. We enjoyed the afternoon sun on the lovely veranda and enjoyed the birds. The hostess had excellent recommendations for places to eat and even booked one dinner for us.

Loved the pool! We loved our stay in many ways, very quiet and peaceful, but found the bed very wobbly and impossible to sleep in. The pool was amazing!
