Never ever again , unhygienic condition. Review: A Disappointing Stay Saved Only by Service Rating: Dates of Stay: 24–27 April 2026 Group Size: 12 Adults Our recent stay was a mixed experience that unfortunately leaned toward frustration. While the location and service from the lady on duty had their highlights, the infrastructure of the property simply wasn’t equipped to handle a group of our size. The Location & Living Spaces The proximity and access to the beach were excellent, making for easy transitions to the shore. Inside, the sleeping arrangements were satisfactory, and the bathrooms were adequate, though we did encounter a broken shower door in the main room upon arrival. Kitchen & Facilities (The Major Hurdle) This is where the stay became difficult. For a group of 12 men, a functional kitchen is essential. The Stove: The primary stove was incredibly small and failed completely on our first night, leaving us with only a single operational plate. The Backup: A portable gas stove was provided but only worked for 20 minutes. The Result: We were forced to cook every meal over an open fire for the remainder of the trip. Water Issues: The water pressure fluctuated significantly and occasionally cut off entirely. Maintenance & Security While the property is marketed with a certain charm, it feels less "rustic" and more in need of basic, overdue maintenance. Security was our primary concern. The guard was only visible in the evenings once drinks were out, engaging in random and unusual conversation. This lack of oversight was confirmed when two garments and towels left on the patio overnight went missing; hence, the security perimeter was compromised. The Saving Grace The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly Constance. She was a breath of fresh air—warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. She did her best to make us feel welcome despite the technical failures of the house. Final Verdict Would we return? No. While the beach access is a plus and Constance is a gem, the combination of failed appliances and compromised security makes it impossible to recommend for a large group. We might stop by to say hello to Constance, but we won’t be booking a stay here again.

Pleasant. Beautiful views. Swimming pool is very cute and clean. House is very spacious with comfy furniture.

Enjoyable. Very spacious and ideal location.

Good experience. It was very nice. The house and pool are bigger than they seem in the photos. There is no washing machine in the unit. The house is quite far from a lot of the markets and supermarkets, with not much to do in the area. We were there just after a storm and a main bridge was being repaired, leading us to take longer roads. Lovely cleaning lady. The owner was very helpful and quick when problems arose.

Was 'n kort en lekker kuier en my hele familie van 12 kon gemaklik bly. Was heerlik gewees en oor is genoeg spasie vir 'n groot familie, baie netjies en skoon en 'n groot en gemaklike erf. Die uitsig oor die see was ongelooflik gewees. Die diens wat ons ontvang het, was baie goed. Ons het gemaklik en baie veilig gevoel.

Lovely stay, but an aircon unit for summer is a must. Lovely property right on the beach, but was surprised to see other dogs on the property on arrival with mine - perhaps this should be mentioned as some dogs don't mix with strange dogs. Also, as much as it is an off the beach and chill place, so it's not a case of everything needs to be pristine, but cleanliness is lacking (bathrooms, general dishes, etc.). There's no aircons but there are fans, and in this heat, please ensure all fans work and remotes have batteries (thank goodness I had batteries in my camera bag). Lovely stay, right on the beach, but a few minor things need to be addressed.
