Please take careful note: The roads in the Central Drakensberg are in poor condition, especially the D184 (Cayley Road), and are best navigated with a 4x4 vehicle or a high clearance vehicle.
Please take note that Shepherd Farm is an off-grid property, relying on solar power, gas and generator power. The power to the cottage is switched off at 11h30 and switched on again at 07h00. Emergency lamps are provided.
Access to the cottage is via a wooden walkway from the carport.
Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the accommodation. Guests are required to enquire from the establishment about the condition of the gravel road before booking.
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited.
