Description
Cross Pollination Chalets & Camping is situated in Vaalwater on a bushveld farm inside the malaria-free Waterberg Mountains. The property offers rustic stone-and-thatch cottages and private campsites.
The cottages include Reedbuck Cottage, which accommodates 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. Air-conditioning in the main room (a powerful ceiling fan in the 2nd bedroom).
Klipspringer Cottage, which accommodates 2 guests. Also with Air-con and wi-fi.
Bushbuck Chalet is another single room with queen size bed. A desk fan and wi-fi included.
En-suite bathrooms for every room, and private braai bomas. The kitchens are fully equipped for self-catering. Luxury soft bed linens, towels, and complimentary tea- and coffee-making facilities are provided.
Two private campsites are also available. Valley View offers a secluded camping space with an open-air bush shower. Mountain Dam Sunset View offers views of the dam and the surrounding mountains. Both campsites have no toilets or kitchen facilities and are suited to fully self-sufficient guests.
On-site facilities include a communal swimming pool overlooking the mountains, as well as several walking and mountain-biking trails suitable for various fitness levels. Take a walk up the mountain for a spectacular view. The retreat provides a peaceful environment with good birdwatching and tree spotting. The property is accessible to sedans, although a high-clearance vehicle such as an SUV is preferred.
