Lekker gebly, net bietjie onaangenaam verras deur die R180 ontbyt. Ek het lekker gebly daarso, net oorgeslaap en die volgende oggend gevlieg - ek was wel ontevrede om uit te vind nadat ek ontbyt geëet het, dat ontbyt nie ingesluit was in my bespreking nie.

Convenient, safe, peaceful, spacious and professional. We had such a great time at Shumba Valley Lodge, the hosts were welcoming and made it easy to check in. The place was spacious and clean, with everyone minding their own business. Had an issue with the air conditioner that didn't work - it was cold. Kids get a chance to play at the play area, the pool area was really beautiful and therapeutic. The food was delicious from breakfast, lunch to dinner. No need to worry about ordering food. You get everything where you are. There are also different dining areas to choose from, which is awesome. There's a conference room for conferences. They also offer airport shuttle services notably. It's value for money guaranteed. The staff was always ready to assist when we needed assistance.

Friendly staff, clean accommodation, onsite restaurant. This was my 3rd visit and I enjoyed my stay again. So peaceful and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Just note that the menu shown online differs from the actual menu at the restaurant, but the meals available were sufficient.

Tranquility in simple terms. It was nice, my son enjoyed the poolside. Rooms were clean as shown in the pictures.

Lekker gerus. Die stap na die kamer was ver - maar die dame by ontvangs het gehelp dra en ook om ons kamer te kry. Daar was net 1 koffiebeker.

Good. On arrival, the two ladies and the gentleman were just minding their own business. The gentleman just passed us without even greeting; he seemed to be a supervisor or manager. The welcome could have been better. As a first-time traveller, I was expecting the receptionist to share more info about their property. Seeing that my booking didn't include any breakfasts or dinners, they could have shared information about their restaurant and operating times. Thanks to the gentleman who was on the late shift, he was helpful in providing more information. Housekeeping placing linen on the trees is unpleasant for us as guests; please get them trolleys. For standard rooms, please try to provide options for refreshments, like water, even if we have to pay for it. I had to drive to the nearest supermarket to get water as there was nothing in the room, and the receptionist didn't say anything about restaurant operating times. The kettle was dirty and does not open, so we couldn't use it. Overall, the place is nice and has a lot of potential; staff needs training and attention to detail.

Beautiful, relaxed, tranquil. Our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. One of the units did not have a glass covering the shower and one unit's aircon was not working 100%. Other than that, we had a beautiful stay.
