St. George's Rest offers comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation nestled amongst the trees in the heart of Nature's Valley. This is a great option for a family getaway on the Garden Route as this home is situated within walking distance from the ocean and lagoon.

This property can comfortably accommodate a total of 8 guests at a time and comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms as well as a guest toilet. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath. The second bedroom also has a double bed, while the remaining 2 bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. The other 2 bathrooms are fitted with a shower and a bath, respectively.

The open-plan living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a breakfast bar with stools. Leading from the kitchen is a dining table where guests can enjoy their meals together. The lounge has comfy seating where guests can relax with a book.

Outside there is a spacious wooden deck with seating and braai facilities which is the perfect place to enjoy both a morning coffee or a sundowner while overlooking the trees. Guests are afforded secure parking on the property.

Swimming:
Rip currents make sea bathing dangerous. Please use the lagoon or, preferably, Beach 4, which has Blue Flag status in peak season and lifeguards on duty.

Security:
Thefts do occur. Please report suspicious activity to ADT Patrol on 083 290 9085 or the Police on 044 501 1900.

Baboons & Monkeys:
Do not leave fruit or food outside. Keep waste indoors and ensure windows and doors are locked when you go out.

Rubbish & Recycling:
Bins may be placed out only on collection days (Fridays) to reduce baboon activity. Black bags must be placed inside the wheely-bin and secured with an anti-baboon latch.
If your stay does not overlap the collection day, please take waste to the Waste Transfer Site (located on the Lagoon end of Forest Drive (left side). Recycling is strongly encouraged, and facilities are available at the site.

Speed Limit:
Maximum speed is 30 km/h. Please watch out for children and wildlife.

Hiking:
The Nature’s Valley Trust provides excellent online trail information. Note that Salt River coastal access may be affected by landslips.

Fishing:
Fishing is subject to conditions and regulations. Permits are available from the Plettenberg Bay Post Office.c
