Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R500 is payable directly to the property.
House Rules
Guests are kindly requested to respect the peaceful estate environment and the comfort of other guests during their stay.
Smoking is not permitted inside rooms, suites, chalets, restaurants or indoor public areas. Guests may only smoke in designated outdoor smoking areas.
No loud music, excessive noise, parties or disruptive behaviour is permitted. Quiet and respectful conduct is expected, especially in the evenings and early mornings.
Only registered guests may occupy the booked room, suite or chalet. Additional visitors or overnight guests must be arranged with the reception in advance and are subject to property approval.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially around the swimming pools, restaurants, bars, activity areas, parking areas and estate facilities.
Pets are not permitted unless prior written approval has been received from the property.
Braai facilities may only be used in designated braai areas or at units where braai facilities are provided. Open fires are not permitted in non-designated areas.
Hotel rooms are not self-catering units, and guests may not cook in hotel rooms. Self-catering facilities are only available in the designated self-catering chalets.
Guests are requested to take care of the property, furniture, linen, towels, equipment and estate facilities. Any damage, missing items, or maintenance concerns must be reported to reception as soon as possible.
Swimming pools, leisure facilities and estate activities are used at guests’ own risk. Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by the property or activity staff. Please request pool towels as these are provided at the designated pool areas. Please do not use room towels.
Check-in and check-out times must be followed as per the booking confirmation, unless alternative arrangements have been approved by the property in advance.
The room-only rate includes accommodation for the booked number of guests, use of the room amenities, linen, towels, Wi-Fi, daily housekeeping and access to Sundown Country Estate’s general on-site facilities, including the swimming pools, restaurants, bars, secure parking and leisure areas.
Breakfast, other meals, beverages, activities, game drives, transfers and any additional extras are not included in the room-only rate and must be arranged separately with the property.
