Sal weer definitief daar bly. Wat 'n wonderlike verrassing na 'n lang reis deur die Karoo! Ons is vriendelik ontvang en het dadelik tuis gevoel. Die kamers was pragtig herstel en die aandete en ontbyt 'fine dining' klas.

An oasis in the middle of nowhere - a piece of heaven. It was like an oasis in the middle of the desert. A little piece of heaven. Everything was perfect. Just a reminder to BYOB as they do not have a liquor licence, but that's not a problem. It was a wonderful stay. Just what we needed after a 10-hour drive.

It's a charming, clean, quiet, beautiful place to stay. We stayed on our way down to Stellenbosch and again on our way back. If, like us, you're not one for doing the trip in a single go, then this is the best stop. It's a charming, clean, quiet, beautiful place to stay. The staff and management couldn't have been more helpful or enthusiastic. Wonderful!

Wonderful. What a wonderful find! We all loved it and will definitely come back again. Klaradyn and her staff provided for all our needs. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Loved the attention to detail.

Rustigheid, lekker eet en omring deur ongelooflike aangename mense. The Richmond Cafe and Rooms is vir seker een van ons gunsteling verblyf opsies. Die kos, dekor en vriendelikheid van beide personeel en eienares is uit die boonste rakke.

Thoughtful comfort. If I were asked for suggestions on how to improve my experience of staying overnight at the Richmond Cafe and Rooms, I would have nothing to say. Every aspect of our stay was superb! The location of the Richmond is perfect (just the right distance along our journey from the Western Cape to Gauteng). We had a delicious and inspirational three-course meal for dinner, which was ordered ahead and very reasonably priced. The garden and swimming pool made it feel like we had stepped into an oasis, and the gift shop, which was open inside into the evening, made it possible to shop for a few gifts without having to interrupt our journey during the day. The room was comfortable, clean and made us feel instantly at home! The hostess has thought of everything, including sending us information about the migrating Lesser Falcons which we could watch flying overhead in the clear blue Karoo sky!

We had a lovely stay. The place was comfortable, peaceful, and incredibly tranquil — exactly what we needed as a family. It was the perfect stopover for the night(s), offering a calm and relaxing atmosphere after a long journey. The accommodation was clean, well set up, and felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. We especially appreciated the quiet surroundings and the sense of space that makes the area so special. The only thing that would make the stay even better would be the addition of a TV in the pause area with good signal WiFi, but aside from that, everything was great. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to families looking for a comfortable and restful stopover.
