Vale Karoo Farm is the perfect overnight stop on a long journey. We had a lovely overnight stay between Joburg and Cape Town. Everything was perfect: character-filled cottage, neat and clean, all amenities in the room were working well and functional, safe, peaceful - a beautiful night under the stars. It's definitely our go-to stop en route in the future. The staff were lovely. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism.

Wonderful stay albeit short. The Vale Karoo farm is lovely. The location is great if you are travelling on the N1 as it is not far off the N1. The rooms and linen were clean. We ordered meals off their menu and the food was outstanding. The only fault I have is that we arrived in 42 degree heat and they did not have air conditioning in the room we were staying. Not sure if the other rooms or cottages had.
