Everything that you see about the house you will find as is. We had fun, it was nice. I can go back again and again. I wish I had more days; the vacation was perfect. The owner of the house is a very nice person and the caretaker as well.

Quiet, peacful and relaxing. It was a wonderful peacful stay. Even though there was no sun so the solar did not work for a couple of days. Being off grid was exactly what we were looking for and spent the time hiking with the kids.

Good host, place clean. Good stay, but the road leading to the lodge is very bad; it's so bumpy.

Not worth it. We were given a small uncomfortable unit 101 with a tiny staircase going up. It doesn't look maintained. For R1500 per night, it would have made sense to have a better unit. We were sharing 1 bathtub among all 5 of us. No shower. What's worse is that she gave us a unit with 1 solar panel; there are plenty of units with more solar panels, so we ran out of power and we were not using any electronics. We were given a poor unit.

The rate charged is specific to the unit that was booked, and larger units with additional space and facilities are generally available at a higher nightly rate. Regarding the bathroom facilities, our listing description clearly states that the shared bathroom is fitted with a bath, toilet, and basin. We understand that some guests may prefer a shower, but this is accurately reflected in the information provided before booking. We would also like to clarify that the unit is fitted with more than one solar panel. Unfortunately, during your stay there was a period of persistent rainy weather, which can significantly reduce solar charging efficiency and affect available power, despite normal usage.
