Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R2500 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

Check-in is as per the booking confirmation, and check-out time must be strictly adhered to so the unit can be prepared for the next guests. Late check-out is only permitted if arranged in advance with management and may incur a fee of R100 per hour. Only the number of guests confirmed in the booking may stay in the unit, and no additional guests or day visitors are permitted. Guests must treat the unit, furniture, equipment, and fittings with care. Any damage, breakage, or loss must be reported immediately, and guests will be held liable for any intentional or negligent damage.

Guests must keep the unit neat and tidy and must not move furniture or indoor equipment. If furniture is moved or taken outside, a breakage fee may be charged. No loud music, shouting, or disturbances are allowed, and quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM must be strictly observed. Mabalingwe is a nature reserve, and guests must respect the peace and other guests. No parties, excessive alcohol consumption, or disruptive behaviour is allowed, and management may request guests to leave if these rules are not followed.

Fires may only be made in designated braai areas, and all fires and coals must be fully extinguished before being left unattended. All fire safety rules must be followed. As Mabalingwe is a wildlife reserve, guests must not feed, approach, or disturb animals, and must always keep a safe distance. Feeding animals is strictly prohibited as it can cause harm to both humans and animals. Children must be supervised at all times, and guests must not damage plants or disturb the natural environment.

All waste must be disposed of in the designated bins, and littering is not allowed. Food and waste must not be left outside as it may attract wildlife. Guests must follow all reserve speed limits and drive carefully, especially in wildlife areas. Smoking is not allowed inside the unit, and any outdoor smoking must be done responsibly with proper disposal of cigarette butts. All appliances and facilities must be used responsibly, and any faults must be reported immediately. No items may be removed from the unit.

Children must be supervised at all times, and management accepts no responsibility for accidents due to lack of supervision. No pets are allowed under any circumstances, including dogs, cats, fish, birds, hamsters, or any other animals. Guests use the accommodation and facilities at their own risk. Mabalingwe Game Reserve, management, and the owners accept no liability for loss, damage, or injury, except where required by law. All reserve rules must be followed at all times, and management reserves the right to request guests to leave if rules are not adhered to.
