Umlilo Lodge is located in St. Lucia, a small coastal village surrounded by the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park, South Africa's first National World Heritage Site, on the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal. Lake St. Lucia is a large estuarine lake abundant with hippo, crocodiles, fish and hundreds of bird species. The area comprises rivers, lakes, marsh, mangrove swamps and huge sand dunes, with beautiful unspoiled beaches. We are walking distance from all the restaurants and shops in town.
There are 13 spacious rooms each with an en-suite bathroom. Each room is air-conditioned and has direct garden views or balconies overlooking the pool and garden with a smart TV and Netflix.
From Big 5 game drives to boat cruises, and from snorkeling safaris to night drives, let the hostess at Umlilo Lodge arrange activities for you. There is a borehole and a backup generator so water and electricity is guaranteed 24/7.
