V'Kansi Khaya is a property in the picturesque town of Clarens in the eastern Free State. Come and experience peace, tranquillity and uninterrupted views of the mountains surrounding Clarens. The property is within walking distance from the town centre.
The self-catering chalet has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Please note that if only two guests make a booking only one bedroom will be available!!.The main bedroom has a double bed while the second bedroom has twin beds. Linen, towels and electric blankets are provided. The lounge area has a flat-screen TV with full DStv package and Hi-Fi. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils. Guests can also make use of the deck with weber braai area and double carport. Please note that there is no washing machine. The deck at the back of the chalet is only available if both units are booked. Under no circumstances will visitors be allowed on the premises!
The self-catering studio unit is equipped with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. The lounge area has 2 comfortable chairs and a flat-screen TV with full DStv package. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster and all the necessary cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery.The studio also offers a deck with beautiful views of the mountain, with a weber braai. It has a shaded carport and is fully fenced. No cooking appliances like air fryers, frying pans etc are allowed in the studio. Under no circumstances will visitors be allowed on the premises!
Clarence has a laundry for washing.
Clarens is an artist’s haven and a growing artistic community has taken root here, drawn by the picturesque scenery and architecture. There are many art galleries and craft shops around the village square that offer visitors the chance to take home unique curios and original artworks. President Street has a more affordable collection of stores that offer everything from pottery to candles, and gift shops. The sandstone buildings are a defining feature of the village and add to the picturesque atmosphere. These architectural structures are both fantastic to photograph and cosy to stay in.
