Cute and cosy place both for one person and a couple. It was such a pleasure sleeping over in this loft for the weekend. Speedy responses from owners upon arrival. I will come back in the future. Absolutely wonderful.

Clean, neat, perfect for the weekend. Lovely, comfortable. Air con would be good for the hot days. Overall, most enjoyable and served its purpose.

Lovely old house. I stayed here during a heat wave and was a bit worried that a loft would be hot. However, it is a lovely old house built in the days of thick walls and thatch roofs, so it was surprisingly cool. The host is very friendly. The house is on the outer edge of the village, and so there was some noise on the Friday night from the township. However, this stopped at about 8pm. The security is good with a remote-operated gate and a camera on your car. As advertised, there are about 15 steps up to the loft. I battle with stairs but coped with these without problem. I was travelling with a large suitcase, which would have been very difficult to get up the stairs, but for the couple of nights I was there, I put the things I needed in a smaller bag.

Wonderful and happy! Thank you for your warm welcome! We had a great stay in a spacious, comfortable room. Greyton is very safe and people are friendly. We enjoyed our walks around the town, and our most enjoyable walk was into the nature reserve through the streams. The dusty roads brought back childhood memories.

Great value, great host, walking distance to shops/restaurants. The host was excellent with communications before and upon arrival. Everything needed for a short stay is made available and it is not at all far to walk to restaurants, etc.

Everything you need for a pleasant weekend away. Wagtail Cottage has everything you need for a getaway. There is ample space to relax, make meals, watch a movie, and have a great sleep (the bed was very comfortable). The cottage is located a short walk into town where you'll be spoilt for choice in regards to restaurants and cafes. One last thing: the temperature was 35°C while we stayed, and the cottage did heat up a little during the day but cooled down well at night. With the help of the fan, it was comfortable to sleep.
