Nestled against the edge of the natural forest at the foot of the mountain and The Bonnet Pass, overlooking Graskop town and the spectacular eastern Mpumalanga escarpment, this quaint secluded single self-catering chalet offers cozy accommodation for 2 to 4 guests.
The chalet has an open-plan configuration, with its thatch and tile roof that gives it a rustic ambiance. The main room is furnished with a double bed, and the loft area present 2 single mattresses. The loft area is accessible by ladder only, and ideal for children.
The bathroom is en-suite and fitted with a bath, basin and toilet. The kitchenette is equipped with the basic cooking facilities such as, crockery, cutlery, a bar fridge, two-plate stove and a microwave oven. The unit features a TV with an OpenviewHD satellite decoder. A portable grid is also available for a braai outside.
From the veranda or the lawn outside guests have a magnificent view over the Mpumalanga escarpment, looking towards God’s Window.
Linen, pillows, blankets and towels are provided. Guests are generally responsible for cleaning and tidying of the chalet during their stay, but daily cleaning services can be arranged.
Wild Forest Inn is less than 4 hours’ drive from Johannesburg, situated 5 km from Graskop, 10 km from Pilgrim’s Rest, and 24 km from Sabie. It is also within easy travelling distance of Mbombela (Nelspruit), the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, the Kruger National Park, Mozambique and Swaziland.
