Beutiful house, fantastic experience, can be a great family holiday location.

Absolutely awful.

We were excited driving in as it is situated in a beautiful location. Upon arrival we were sadly disappointed. The front door is a safety concern as it has a gaping hole under the door knob which could easily be tampered with from the outside. The rooms are dark, uncomfortable and not clean. There is a communal bathroom (filthy) shared between guests which is not as advertised. When being shown around and a request was made for a room with an en-suite bathroom, staff stated that "we don't let our guests stay in those rooms as they are not very nice" yet the rooms were being advertised. We left and had to look for another safe and clean location to stay. Would not recommend it.

Filthy toilets and bees in the ceiling.

Relaxing and worth every penny.

The lodge is well maintained and the immediate feeling one experiences is relaxation. I loved the customer service, Jodine was a pleasant host and was attentive to my needs. It is ideal for any type of traveller. Good for isolation and also for groups. I intend on going there again and this time hopefully stay for a longer period.
