Onbeskryflike uitsig. What a place! Die ligging is ongelooflik. Staproetes vanaf die lodge, jy hoef nie eens die Sentinel Peak / Tugela stap aan te pak nie! Wanneer die weer saamspeel, is die uitsig oor die vallei en oor die pieke ongelooflik. Restaurant was lekker en koste redelik. Personeel is besonders vriendelik. Die WiFi was wel effe wispelturig.

Absolutely breathtaking. Perfect place to get away from everything with famous trails right on your doorstep. Gives you direct access without having to camp and give up a shower and comfy bed. The lodge is perfect for daily meals with friendly staff.

Friendly and accommodating. A warm welcome, a fire in the restaurant and friendly, accommodating staff. The breakfast was outstanding and plentiful, and the evening meals were excellent value for money. My room was basic, but I had everything I needed, and I had a stunning view of Sentinel Peak. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful views, stunning walks, warm and friendly staff. Magical. Witsieshoek is a magical place with incredible views and access to some of the best mountain hiking in SA. The staff are professional and so warm, and the restaurant provides very good fare at reasonable prices. This is truly a place to return to. The prices for both the backpackers and private rooms are steep - but what you pay for is access to some of our country's greatest, most beautiful nature.

A bit expensive, but I found it worth it. This was my second visit to Witsieshoek. Previously, I stayed in their backpackers, which I regretted. This time I stayed in the Sentinal units, and although somewhat pricey, the accommodation was to my liking. There was no TV in the unit, but I went to Witsieshoek for hiking and nature, so I didn't mind that. It was summer and rainy with a maximum of 15°C, but that is par for the course high up in the Drakensberg.

Rustig en skoon. Pragtige plek met die heerlikste kos denkbaar. Daar is beslis plek vir instandhouding.

Beautiful spot, mostly friendly staff. Mostly friendly staff; some could work on their manners and efficiency. Food was good, our server at the restaurant was friendly and excellent. The room was clean and neat. Most beautiful area and views and definitely a must for nature lovers.

Gerieflik en bekostigbaar. Die personeel was baie vriendelik en baie behulpsaam. Niks was vir hulle te veel. Die kamer was skoon, netjies en gerieflik. Die ontbyt was heerlik en definitief 'n groot verskeidenheid wat elkeen se smake en voorkeure sal pas. Die beste plek om te oornag as jy die Sentinel wil stap. Ek sal net meer addisionele inligting rakende die pad na die Sentinel (slegs 4x4), die beskikbaarheid van 'n shuttle service, die stapfooie en die korrekte parkfooie lys sodat die gaste 'n meer ingeligte besluit kan neem. Wonderlike ervaring.
