Indescribable view. What a place! The location is incredible. Hiking trails from the lodge, you don't even have to do the Sentinel Peak / Tugela hike! Friendly and accommodating. A warm welcome, a fire in the restaurant and friendly, accommodating staff. Beautiful views, stunning walks, warm and friendly staff. Magical. Witsieshoek is a magical place with incredible views and access to some of the best mountain hiking in SA. The staff are professional and so warm, and the restaurant provides very good fare at reasonable prices. This is truly a place to return to.
