Furrows Lodge"Nieu Bethesda is off the beaten track and the last section of the road to get to the village is a bad corrugated dirt road. This was my first visit to Nieu Bethesda which is an interesting village. I would make sure beforehand which museums and places of interest are open and when, before booking accommodation, as not everything is open all day and every day. The information on their tourist website is out of date. Take enough cash as the crafters outside the Owl House sell their special creations there. All crafters were friendly, not pushy and very proud of their wares. A very poor community in dire need of tourists for upliftment."

Maar die rustigheid van die dorp en die mense laat jou ook sommer kalmeer. Ongeag die droogte is dit nog steeds 'n plek met vriendelike mense!"

Indigo Apartment"If you want a relaxed seaside holiday in a gorgeous little town, this is your place. If you need the highlife, I'd say it's not for you. Relax and unwind, walk, swim, fish. Good eateries in town. Lovely, friendly people too. What is extra nice is that there are other towns reasonably close and you can explore those if you need more than sun, sea and sand. Plenty of interesting little shops around too, but there are not big malls and nightclubs! Great place."
