"I'm not aware of tourist attractions in Colesberg, other than it being a reputable sleepover on a long journey. The Engen is clean and the self-service section in-store is handy when it is late at night and the restaurants closed. The farmstall is a great attraction with lovely gifts, I enjoy spending time browsing."

"Prince Albert is a delightful town full of warm-hearted, friendly locals who have time for a chat. I loved the big art gallery and public library. I went to their Saturday market and enjoyed meeting the stall owners and supporting them. I attended a writing course with Daniel Dercksen, which I enjoyed tremendously. The dairy in town was a fascinating find. One night I had dinner at the Karoo Cafe and what an experience it was. Excellent food. I hear some present cookery courses and art courses too. The Lazy Lizard is a jewel in this Karoo town! The range of products she stocks and the bakery goods (breads, pastries and cakes) are absolutely delicious! I brought a carrot cake home with me. Her cheesecake is superb too! I can understand why so many people settle in Prince Albert. It is a perfect town. Close to George, Oudshoorn and Cape Town. A peaceful, safe place to put down roots."

Karoo House Guesthouse"Sonder die berg sou dit maar baie vaal wees. Die aangesig van die berg is magies. Dorpie lyk skoon en die tuine en huise is pragtig, so mens sal meer waarde kry deur te stap. Winkels en restaurante is maar min, en op Sondae is alles toe vir ontbyt. Ons vriende het gaan eet by die Somerset Hotel Saterdagmiddag, en was baie beïndruk met die kos en vriendelike diens. Ons sal definitief weer hierdie dorpie besoek."
