"We were there for the SA Road Champs so the town was overrun by cyclists and their families. We felt that restaurant owners were not geared to deal with the increase in numbers. If they knew the SA Champs were happening surely they could have kept their kitchens open longer, brought in more staff and also made sure they did not run out of several things on their menus. This also happens on the weekend of the Double Century cycling event. Other than that the town is clean and charming."

"Lambertsbaai is ver genoeg van die Kaap af dat daar nie so baie mense is nie, maar dit is naby genoeg om vir ’n naweek te gaan. Daar is lang, toeganklinke en mooi strande plus oorgenoeg rotspoele en branders wat breek. Die dorp het ook genoeg winkels en restaurante dat mens net die minimum hoef saam te vat. Bird Island was ook vir ons absoluut die moeite werd."
