Pragtig en netjies. 10/10. Dit was 'n plesier om by 1427 on Hornbill te bly. Die huis was netjies en ons gesin het dit vreeslik baie geniet.

Decent big house with pool, place needs just a little tweaking. Was a lovely place, but every time it rained it poured inside and wet the whole lounge area, making it hard to chill with the kids inside at night. The inverter also didn't last longer than 2 hours when the power went off; lucky it was our last day, otherwise our meat would have gone off. Place needs a slight update. Otherwise, it was a big space and very nice.

Thank you so much for your feedback. It was truly a pleasure hosting you. After the severe storms we experienced in December, the roof sustained some damage, which is currently being repaired to ensure an even more comfortable stay in future. We have also added an additional backup power source in the form of a generator, so you can enjoy uninterrupted power supply should Eskom present any challenges. We look forward to hosting you again and welcoming you back soon.

Homey, cosy, spacious. We wished that we were there for longer as it was such a nicely set out place which catered to all our needs. The host was super accommodating and understanding. The only issue we faced was the late check-in time as you can't exactly plan how long your drive is going to be in regards to busy roads and accidents etc., especially if you travel with your meats and cold things. But other than that, we had a blast and so did the kiddies. Definitely recommend the place.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any rudeness experienced from the cleaning company. This is certainly not the standard we strive for. We take great pride in our work and in providing a spotless, welcoming environment for our guests, and we are quite strict with our service providers to ensure this. Your feedback has been noted and will be addressed. Regarding the check-in time, we completely understand how travel delays and logistics, especially with food items, can be challenging. Our check-in times are in place to allow the cleaners sufficient time to prepare the property to our standards. That said, we are always happy to accommodate an earlier check-in with prior arrangement, provided there are no bookings checking out on the same day. It was a pleasure hosting you and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Baie dankie vir u terugvoer. Ons is bly om te hoor dat u lekker gebly het. 1427 on Hornbill het vanaf Oktober 2025 nuwe eienaars gekry, en ons is tans besig om alles na te gaan. Ons hoop om die standaarde, insluitend die kombuis en inhoud, oor die volgende paar maande verder op te kikker. Ons waardeer u insette opreg en hoop om u weer in die toekoms te kan verwelkom.

Good. It was a good stay apart from the leaks in the roof from the heavy rain one night. As well as the stains on the beds. The front sliding door also did not lock properly, which posed a security threat. The biggest surprise to our budget was the breakage deposit we were expected to pay. We were not told about it, and it was not included in the accommodation fee. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Beautiful, spacious house, very enjoyable and relaxing. The place was very clean and neat. We enjoyed our stay there, the pool, braai facilities, and some animals coming through to drink water in the pond. We got to see a variety of animals around the yard. The owner was friendly and caring when she called out. We enjoyed in peace. We would love to visit again.

Warm, lekker geswem en baie mooi diere. Ons het baie lekker gebly. Die yskas het wel gelekt, so ons moes die heeltyd droogmaak. Van die aircons het ook gelek, en een van hulle in die warmste kamer het nie koud gemaak nie. Maar verder was dit baie lekker. Die eienaar is 'n awesome mens. Ek het nie een keer gevoel dat ek haar nie kan bel en vrae nie. Baie oulike en netjiese plekkie. Ons sal beslis weer gaan kuier.

Sedertdien is die kwessies wat u genoem het, insluitend die yskas en aircons, reeds aangespreek en reggemaak, en ons is steeds besig om verdere verbeterings aan te bring om die algehele standaard op te knap.
