Le'Cottage Scottburgh is a lovely self-catering cottage located on the owner's property in Scottburgh.

It's ideally situated close to the beach, the Scottburgh Mall, Rocky Bay Resort and numerous other popular local attractions and caters to couples or solo corporate travellers seeking privacy.

This unit can also accommodate a young child on the L-shaped couch at no extra charge, but we request that the parents provide their own linens. Please note that this unit is not suited to accommodate 3 adults due to the privacy setup.

The unit comprises 1 bedroom and 1 en-suite bathroom. The bedroom is comfortably furnished with a double bed and provides hanging space for guests' luggage. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Linen and bath towels are provided, except during peak season, where guests are requested to bring their own towels.

The open-plan living area features a well-equipped kitchen with a gas stove, microwave, kettle, cutlery, and crockery, along with a central dining table and chairs for 2. The lounge has an L-shaped couch, a TV with full-bouquet DStv channels, and access to free Wi-Fi.

Outside, guests have access to braai facilities in a small lockable garden. Secure on-site parking is available for 2 vehicles.

Rocky Bay Resort is just a 10-minute drive from the cottage and offers deep-sea fishing charters, shark cage diving and a swimming beach.

Our cottage is in a quiet, lived-in coastal neighborhood, ideal for guests who value peace and privacy. While generally very tranquil, you may occasionally notice normal neighborhood activity, as this is not a resort or gated estate.

The photos are a true depiction of the cottage and garden. We do not include photos of the street, which shows everyday wear (including some potholes), common in many parts of South Africa.

Nearby homes vary in appearance, reflecting an authentic residential area.
We are within walking distance of the ocean. The nearby beach is not a Blue Flag beach, but it is usually quiet and safe.

Coastal winds can occasionally blow litter into public areas; we keep the cottage and frontage clean, though surrounding public spaces are not landscaped.

If you’re looking for restaurants, shops, or a more lively atmosphere, these are just 5–10 minutes away by car—allowing you to enjoy the best of both worlds: activity nearby and peaceful evenings at home.
