Stunning home away from home. It was beautiful and well equipped, amazing views and the balcony was a win. The domestic was very sweet and reliable and very friendly. The guards were super helpful and friendly. We were not allowed to use the pool as they had laid new grass which we were not informed of. The toilet was broken which we were made aware of on arrival but I fixed it myself. The only issue I had was we asked for a slightly later check-out and there was no response to that query.

Dear Lindsay, Thank you for your review and for your kind comments about the apartment, the beautiful views, our cleaning lady and the security staff. We are pleased that you enjoyed these aspects of your stay. We are, however, disappointed that you felt your requests were not adequately attended to, as we genuinely went out of our way to accommodate you wherever possible. This included allowing an additional guest at a reduced rate, facilitating an early check-in, responding to your enquiry about extending your stay, and assisting when your keys were accidentally left inside the apartment while it was being serviced. On that occasion, we managed to contact our cleaning lady and arrange for a key to be left with security. Regarding the toilet, it had been repaired before your arrival, so we appreciate you bringing the recurring issue with the flush button to our attention. We also apologise for the inconvenience caused by the temporary pool restriction due to the newly laid grass, which was unfortunately beyond our control. As for the late check-out request, I was unaware of it and can only assume that a WhatsApp message was inadvertently missed. I apologise for that oversight. Unfortunately, we would not have been able to accommodate a late departure on this occasion, but we would certainly have communicated that had we received the request. We also appreciate your eagerness to have your refundable breakage deposit returned, although our booking terms do clearly state that refunds are processed within seven days of departure. We have been welcoming guests since 2008 and have always taken great pride in offering a personal, helpful and accommodating service. We understand that we cannot always meet every request, but we certainly make every effort to do so. It is unfortunate that, despite the many arrangements we were able to make during your stay, one missed message has left you feeling disappointed. Thank you again for staying with us. We wish you all the best. Kind regards, 54 Lazy Lizard hosts

Baie gemaklik gebly in 'n goedntoegeruste woonstel met 'n asemrowende uitsig. My gesin se verblyf by 54 LL, was heerlik. Die woonstel is baie goed toegerus en netjies. Die uitsig oor die see is besonders. Dit is 'n bonus om van die woonstelblok af reg oor die pad te stap en by die strand te wees.

Disappointing After respecting that no visitors were allowed on your premises we were continuously harassed. Every time we left the building and returned a physical head count was done. You have cameras on the premises but called us regularly to enquire how many people were staying at the unit. We are law-abiding, respectful people with integrity, and the way you treated us was unacceptable.

Dear Vikashni. The rental of the unit clearly states that it only accomodates 6 people. The body corporate rules are handed to guests as they book in and this is managed by the security guard for the benefit of all occupants using the holiday flats. Bringing a charcoal braai into the flat building is dangerous and against the rules and there is a gas braai supplied. The unit only accomodates two parked vehicles and therefore a third and fourth vehicle could not be allowed. If you felt harrased with them enforcing rules that keep the building safe and underline the policies of rental then that is what is aired here. We pride ourselves in offering a flat that is clean, maintained and safe for our guests and everyone else living in the building. Kind regards Henrietta Plattner
