The best stopover we had. Review of Alida’s Room B&B. We booked Alida’s Room at the very last minute while on the road, looking for a dog-friendly place to stay. What a surprise it turned out to be! At first, being out of town made us wonder where we were headed, but the moment we arrived we were stunned—it was the most beautiful, artistic, and peaceful setting. From the warm welcome to the helpfulness of the hosts, everything felt genuine and inviting. Even though we arrived late, we were made to feel completely at ease. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with soft pillows and a great mattress—the best night’s sleep we had on our entire trip from Cape Town to Durban. This B&B is truly a hidden gem. The value far exceeded our expectations; honestly, they could charge double and it would still be worth it. If you love art, tranquility, and comfort, Alida’s Room is the perfect stopover.
