ATKV Hartenbos is situated on the world-famous Garden Route, located between Cape Town and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), just 11 km from Mossel Bay and 35 km from George Airport.

A variety of accommodation is offered in the form of self-catering units, rondavels, cottages, luxury hotel rooms and beach houses. All self-catering units are furnished and equipped with cutlery and crockery, as well as linen. Guests are required to bring their own towels.

The resort boasts a variety of recreational facilities, an on-site restaurant, a take-away cafe, a convenience store, an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, and a variety of activities for guests to enjoy, such as mini-golf, trampolines, the ATKV Hartenbos Museum, and a games arcade, as well as Hartenbos' unique walking trail along the beach, consisting of marble blocks with excerpts of African poetry from the works of 16 poets from different periods over the past century.

The resort boasts conference facilities, accommodating groups of up to 100 delegates.

ATKV Hartenbos serves as the ideal base from which to explore numerous tourist attractions in the surrounding area, such as the Cango Caves, Dias Museum, Cape St Blaize Lighthouse, Botlierskop Private Game Reserve, ostrich farms, and Meiringspoort.
