House Rules

All pets must be approved by management prior to arrival. If prior approval has not been arranged at the time of reservation confirmation or before arrival, bookings cannot be accommodated. Only small dogs are accepted. Please note that the property’s friendly Buccara cats and dogs roam freely. They are sociable with both guests and other pets, contributing to the relaxed, farm-style atmosphere.

Personalised concierge services are available, including private chef experiences, transport arrangements, and spa treatments. All services are subject to availability and require prebooking.

From the R61 tar road turn-off, a well-maintained 9 km dirt road leads to Clifton Manor House and Clifton Main House. A medium-clearance vehicle is required for this route. Guests staying at Willowslopes continue along an additional 8.5 km through riverine terrain, for which a high-clearance vehicle is essential.

Check-in is available from 14:00 to 19:00. Late check-ins are subject to an additional fee per hour. Check-out time is 10:00. Late check-outs between 10:00 and 15:00 incur a half-day rate, while check-outs after 15:00 are charged a full night rate. Late check-outs are subject to availability and should be arranged directly with reservations or the property manager.

Bookings are on a self-catering or room-only basis. Communal kitchen facilities, braai facilities, wood, firelighters, and ice are provided for guests’ convenience.

Self-driving on the reserve is not permitted. Guests are welcome to explore the reserve on recommended walking routes. Guided game drives and guided walks are available upon request, priced separately and subject to availability.

The nearest town, Graaff-Reinet, is approximately 25–30 minutes from the reserve. Guests are advised to purchase necessary supplies while passing through town, as no restaurants or shops are available on the reserve. Private chef services can be arranged upon request.
