Quiet and relaxing. Relaxing! Lovely view which we enjoyed from the very comfortable recliner couch. Complex is quiet and secure. Good quality mattress and bedding. Spacious enough so you don't get cabin fever when you choose to stay in, close enough to Stellenbosch that you can go out often.

Poor service. We arrived at the unit and there was no television. We were 2 couples travelling and every night we were allocated a different parking space; this was not communicated to us prior to our arrival. The WiFi router stopped working on the 4th day during our stay as I had to check on work emails and couldn't do that. Upon check-out, the host left our luggage bags open outside the front door after asking permission to check out a bit later, which she agreed upon as we were busy helping out the kids packing for school. We are frequent travellers and have never experienced treatment like this. Very disappointing service.

Dear Lee-anne, I am very sorry that you felt you experienced poor service. I always try to give excellent service to my guests. I have noted that you did not know when you booked that there was only one allocated parking bay (although I did mention it in the Welcome Letter which you received before your arrival.) I have made sure that it is now clearly indicated on the property description. I did make a great effort to allocate you an additional parking space for the second car wherever I could find one. It seems the battery to which the Wi-Fi router was linked ran flat. I'm not sure why it happened, as it has never happened before. I did offer to come round straight away to fix it, but you said that it was not necessary to do that. Regarding check-out: we agreed that you could check out at 10:30 am. When I arrived at the apartment at 11:30 am, the bags were open on the bed and there were clothes all over the bed and floor. I needed to start washing linen and cleaning the rooms and so put the bags as I found them inside the front door with the clothes on top. You arrived at 12:30 pm to fetch your luggage, two hours after the agreed upon check-out time. Again, I am sorry that you were disappointed. I will always do my best to make sure my guests find their stay at the Cozy cottage-style apartment enjoyable and comfortable. Kind regards, Karen
