Gateside Guesthouse is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in Hilton Village, only 10 km from Pietermaritzburg's city centre and midway between the Drakensberg mountains and the KwaZulu-Natal beaches. We are easily accessed from the N3 highway (2kms) & convenient to local shops & restaurants whilst still offering stunning country views & tranquility.
Accommodation comprises 9 units, suited to accommodate up to 30 guests in total. All rooms come equipped with comfortable beds & en-suite bathrooms: 7 of the 9 units have kitchenettes & 2 are semi self-catering, 5 of our units can accommodate families or a group of work colleagues . All rooms offer wifi over fibre, DStv or Netflix, fans, electric blankets, wall panel heaters or prepaid air-conditioning, tea- and coffee-making, ironing facilities.
Family self-catered units have their own lounge/dining areas.
All accommodation is charged on a bed-only/self-catering basis, Guests are welcome to add breakfast(full,health or packed), packed lunches & 2-course dinners set up in your room at an additional cost.
Add-ons: meeting room/small conference bookings. These functions can be catered or non-catered.
On-site facilities include spacious garden with wonderful views!, swimming pool, trampoline, sheltered deck with sitting area, braais at the units and onsite, gated parking with remote access.
