Other than that it is very peaceful and beautiful. Did not even miss the TV. It was nice and very quiet, but I will not recommend going alone because it gets a bit scary at night for a woman alone, so I would prefer going with someone, since you have to leave the living area and go outside to go to the bedroom. It can get a bit scary for a woman alone at night.

Amazing views and a comfortable stay. The property needs to be managed better. The stay at Highland Retreat was good. The room and kitchen have everything one requires for a comfortable stay, and the view is amazing. Unfortunately, our WiFi did not work for three days. When we notified the property management, they responded but said they could do nothing about it immediately. Three days felt unreasonable to wait for it to be fixed. Secondly, the security lights outside the unit did not work for two nights, and we did not have hot water for one day. I think the property needs to be managed better. The property management did call us and offered us to stay for two extra days for free, but we did not have extra free days. Maybe they should have then offered a discount for the inconvenience.
