Loddey’s Guest House is located in the heart of the False Bay basin, one of South Africa’s leading travel destinations. Strand, originally a small fishing village, is now a bustling holiday destination with modern high-rise buildings lining one of the finest beaches in the Western Cape.
Accommodation comprises 6 spacious and beautifully furnished rooms, as well as 5 self-catering options for guests to choose from.
The rooms each have an en-suite bathroom and in-room amenities include air-conditioning, a TV with selected DStv channels and tea- and coffee-making facilities. To complement your stay our rates include a full English breakfast and we also offer a convenient laundry service. Safe, off-street parking is provided in front of the guest house.
A mixture of old and new gives Loddeys Guest House's interior a warm and welcoming home-away-from-home ambience. The public living room, the plush dining area with fireplace, and the sun-drenched, enclosed verandah provide extra relaxation areas. The pool and braai lapa are wonderful areas to enjoy the South African sunshine and hospitality. Light lunches, dinners, and braais are available on request at the Lapa.
Loddeys is within walking distance from the sea, making it the closest guest house to the beach, as well as restaurants and all amenities. It is a 45-minute drive from Cape Town International Airport.
