Description
Periwinkle 1 is a spacious self-catering beach apartment perched on a hill above Ramsgate’s Blue Flag Beach, offering beautiful ocean views. The apartment is approximately 500 m from Ramsgate Main Beach and tidal pool, it's within easy walking distance of The Waffle House, Art Cafe, Blue Lagoon beach bar, and just around the corner from the Whale Deck and local shops.
Perfect for families and small groups, the apartment comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests across 4 bedrooms. The main bedroom features a double bed and sliding doors opening onto a sea-facing veranda. The second bedroom is designed with children in mind and includes a single bed, vanity, beach toys, bodyboards, flippers, a skimboard, puzzles and books. The sunny third bedroom offers twin beds, built-in cupboards and a vanity, while the fourth bedroom contains a single bed, built-in cupboards, vanity and its own sliding door entrance.
The apartment has 2 shared bathrooms: one with a bath, basin and toilet, and the other with a shower and separate toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided. Some beach towels are available, although guests are encouraged to bring their own.
The fully equipped open-plan kitchen includes an air fryer, Nespresso coffee machine, snackwich maker, fridge-freezer, electric stove and oven, toaster, kettle, mixer, cookware and crockery. A starter supply of dishwashing liquid, a cleaning rag, toilet paper and one black refuse bag is provided. The BP Village Shop is only a short walk away and open 24 hours for basics, snacks, ice and wood.
A breakfast nook and dining area with seating for 6 complete the space, with sliding doors opening onto beautiful ocean views. The comfortable open-plan lounge offers leather couches, books, board games, a TV and soundbar. Guests can log into their own Netflix or DSTV accounts. The first 10 GB of WiFi is provided. Additional data can be purchased and set up by guests, if needed.
Sliding doors open onto a large sea-facing patio with outdoor dining and a gas braai, perfect for relaxed evenings overlooking the ocean. Guests also have access to:

• outdoor showers
• wooden deck seating area
• backup water supply with JoJo tanks
• armed response security
• load-shedding essentials including a small portable gas cooker, gas kettle and rechargeable lights
Secure parking for ONLY 1 vehicle is available behind a remote-controlled gate.
