Ek sal baie beslis weer by Ricky's Drify Vegan Farm gaan bly. Ek het verskriklik lekker gebly. Die gasvrou/eienaars het absoluut uit hul pad gegaan om my gemak te vir seker. Hulle het vir my 'n volle vegan maaltyd verskaf op 'n baie kort kennisgewing wat verskriklik lekker was.

Delight in the hills. Welcoming, private, adventurous, warm, heartfelt! The touch of a fruit plate with the most delicious granadillas and bananas was awesome. Thank you for the care.

Heaven on earth. Om van alles weg te kom is die grootste skat van Ricy's Drift Vegan Farm. Louise was 'n uitstekende gasvrou. Pragtige dekor wat jou laat tuisvoel met alles wat jy nodig het. Bly lank genoeg om staproetes te kan geniet.

Peaceful setting, but not quite what I expected. Ricky’s Drift is tucked away in a truly peaceful part of the Karoo, and if you enjoy being completely off the grid, it could be a wonderful escape from city life. Louise was very sweet and welcoming, and the setting has great potential for a tranquil stay. However, there were a few things I wish I’d known beforehand. The accommodation is over 30 km of gravel road, with some very rocky patches, so it’s best suited for a sturdy vehicle. Expect no signal within an hour radius, so save offline maps. The power is solar and shared with a neighbouring house, which meant waking up without electricity one morning. The WiFi and signal are also quite limited, so plan to truly unplug. I struggled with locking and unlocking doors and finding light switches, the outside bath needed a quick rinse, and the hot water ran out quickly. Overall, it really felt like very little attention had been given to readying the space. Even though I was reassured that the area is safe, as a female travelling alone, I personally didn’t feel entirely comfortable or secure. It’s a charming concept in theory and would appeal to travellers who enjoy a rustic, off-grid experience. For me, it just didn’t quite match the level of comfort or attention to detail I had hoped for.

Serenity at its best. If you are looking for a tranquil off the beaten track stay, this is the place for you. Louise, the host, is an absolute gem; her hospitality is second to none. The surroundings are peaceful and the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. It truly gives you peace of mind and rest for your soul from the hustle and bustle of the city. I could go on.

Absolutely amazing. This stay was food for the soul, and the views were just breathtaking! It was our first time in the Karoo, and we did not want to leave. We can't wait to visit Ricky's Drift Vegan Farm again. We love the different options of cottages, and we love Ricky and Louise!

Interessant. Mooi huis op 'n afgelee plek wat ons behoeftes gepas het. Wens net daar was hout en dat WiFi-inligting sommer direk beskikbaar was. Maar dit is beslis nie vir enigeen nie.

Unforgettable experience at this beautiful place, I will be longing to return! This is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in. The farm is pure Africa, with beautiful views of the mountains and walking trails on the property itself. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and I could order some food (all vegan in this case) which was plentiful and delicious. I stayed here for 8 days and was sad to leave afterwards. The road is a bit rough to get there, so one has to drive carefully, but one gets used to it and it's no problem.

Beste wegbreek stilte in die Karoo. Baie lekker gebly, lekkerste voorstoep en agterstoep. Goeie beddens en beddegoed. Alles is 'n plaasgevoel. Mooi uitsig en die stilte is onbeskryflik lekker. Staproetes is baie lekker, nie te maklik nie, maar mooi uitsig.
