The chalets are cosy self-catering units offering a peaceful stay in a private setting. Here, a relaxed atmosphere is provided, making it ideal for couples or solo travellers seeking a quiet getaway. The units can accommodate 2 guests and are furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted into 2 single beds on request. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. Bath towels, bed linen, and essential toiletries are provided for guest convenience. The kitchenette is equipped with a gas stove top, fridge, kettle, and basic cutlery, crockery, and cookware, including pots and pans. A small 2-seater dining area is available, and complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and basic cooking essentials such as oil, salt, pepper, and spices are provided. The tap water is brackish, so guests are welcome to bring their own drinking water if preferred. Limited drinking water is also provided in the fridge. Description
Die Ou Huis is a spacious, stand-alone self-catering farmhouse set in the heart of the Karoo, offering a relaxed and private stay for larger families or groups. Here, a homely yet practical layout is provided, allowing guests to gather comfortably while still enjoying individual space and privacy. The house can accommodate up to 14 guests and comprises 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Rooms 1 and 2 are each furnished with 3 single beds and share a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and a separate toilet. Room 3 is a private flatlet with its own entrance, furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds, and includes a kitchenette and en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. Room 4 is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. Room 5 is furnished with 2 single beds, and room 6 has either 2 single beds or a king-size bed, if pushed together. Both Rooms 5 and 6 make use of a shared bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, and toilet. Bath towels, bed linen, and essential toiletries are provided for guest convenience. A fully equipped kitchen is provided and includes a gas stove, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and basic cooking essentials. The living areas include a lounge, dining space with air-conditioning, and an indoor braai area, while a Smart TV with full DSTV and streaming services such as Netflix, Apple TV, and Amazon Prime is available. Wi-Fi is also provided, along with a dedicated workspace and additional comforts such as extra blankets and hot water bottles. Outdoor living is catered for with a large stoep, garden area, and both indoor and outdoor braai facilities with utensils provided. The house is enclosed, offering a secure environment for up to 2 well-behaved pets by arrangement.
