Charming Guest House Stay with Some Recommendations for Families.

Overall, our stay at this guest house was fantastic, and while there are a few minor areas for improvement, it's challenging to find significant faults. For families with children, it might be beneficial to include a jungle gym for additional entertainment options, as the current activities for children are somewhat limited to ball games and bike riding. We would also suggest considering the installation of a pool safety net to alleviate concerns about children wandering near the pool. Considering the crime situation in South Africa, having a house alarm system could offer peace of mind, as security can be a bit unsettling in such a secluded environment. On the positive side, the caretaker was a true gem. He was exceptionally welcoming and helpful, always ready to start a fire or cut up coconuts for the children, who absolutely adored him. The house itself is a captivating blend of history and modernity, with breathtaking beauty. By the pool, you can enjoy mesmerizing views of Lake St. Lucia, and in the mornings, you may even spot red duikers browsing. The only drawback was an unannounced visit from the caretaker on the morning of checkout, an hour before our departure time, which caught my wife off guard. He started cleaning up the house while we were still getting ready and packing up. Despite this, the caretaker's hospitality throughout our stay made up for this minor inconvenience.

Wonderlike, verrassende Spaanse "hacienda" in die middel van Hluhluwe.

Pragtige unieke huis met 'n interessante geskiedenis vir reisigers wat hou van die storie agter 'n plek. Vriendelike diens van Peter. Wonderlike uitsig van die dek af. Tien uit tien.
