The Grand Yellow Port Alfred

Verskriklik lekker.

Die woonstel is lekker naby aan die strand. Dit is loopafstand vir die wat nie wil rondry nie. Dit is regtig 'n lekker woonstel vir 'n gesin met kinders. Ek beveel dit beslis aan en kan nie wag vir ons volgende kuier nie.

Not great!

The stay was good. With the walk, it all seems very nice and neat. Then you get into bed and see the sheets ripped! The kitchen was dirty, the stove and oven! Utensils are very old and need to be in the bin. Not so happy!

Orderly and peaceful.

A very good environment for unwinding and destressing.

It is not a good place for friends vacation because they don't allow music.

Doesn't allow you to be yourselves you have to whisper when you speak.

Excellent holiday destination for a family.

In future, the guests need to know if the apartment will be overlooking the ocean or Kowieriver or none of the 2. Another set of keys with remote will increase the convenience. 11 out of 10, regardless of these minor issues.

Great for a family holiday

The unit is a great space for a family holiday. Living spaces are large enough to accommodate a family of 4. The unit is neat and secure. Unfortunately only accessible by a staircase. The complex seem secure and is accessible by remote control gate. All though the unit is not sea facing, the beach is a few 100m from the beach and about 500m from the pier and restaurants.

The person owning the flats was very rude and unavailable to assist us in anything we needed. That was very disappointing.

It's a very nice and cosy place, the price is located near a beach in a safe area. Accommodation was very clean, but you need to supply more toilet paper for large groups of people.

Was gerieflik en kon lekker ontspan.

Alles was lekker en gerieflik. Loop afstand van die strand af en mens voel baie veilig. Almal om ons het gebraai maar ons kon nie. Sou nog lekkerder wees as ons ook kon braai. Verder sal ek die plek enige tyd aanbeveel.

Ons het baie lekker gebly!

Die woonstel is loopafstand vanaf die see, is mooi ruim, netjies en skoon en het 'n goed toegeruste kombuis. Ons sal definitief weer hier wil kom bly!

Heerlik gerus en langs die strand gestap.

Ons het die klein dingetjies baie waardeer soos seep en suiker wat beskikbaar was by aankoms. Hierdie plekke is gerieflik naby en ons kon elke dag vroeg- en laatmiddag met die kinders op die strand gaan stap. Ons het regtig heerlik gerus.

Nothing grand about the Grand Yellow.

Although this accommodation had a friendly host and great location, the facility and decor left much to be desired. The only decent room was the main bedroom which was well decorated and well lit. The bathroom though newly renovated had a blocked drain and no exterior ventilation. The sleeper couch in the living room was in reality only a thin foam mattress on the floor. This apartment does not have a sea view and the lack of padlock for the security door made us feel very unsafe. Overall, although the host was very charming and saw to the blocked drain immediately, we did not feel it was good value for money.
