The Old Farmhouse Cottage

Awesome. Beautiful scenery.

Host was very hospitable. Need a SUV preferably, however the host went out of their way to accommodate us by taking us up and down the mountain.

Tranquil and breathtakingly beautiful. Raw and untouched.

Hidden in the hills and valleys of the Assegaaibos. A slice of heaven. The home is isolated enough from the little town but not far away.

The Old Farmhouse Cottage is perfect for a little breakaway. It's secluded and perfectly nestled in the valley. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed every moment. Guests should take note of the advisory regarding the suggestion for cars with higher clearance, but I did manage the road with my Toyota Etios. The location is still great though, and I would highly recommend the cottage for anyone seeking to break away for a bit.

Beautifully appointed cottage with everything we needed. Charming hosts who were informative.

Michelle did advise me about the 4km road to the farm being more suitable for high clearance vehicles. We were in a Mercedes sedan, but took it slowly with no issues. We did appreciate Gary's guidance on getting our car across a rain-soaked lawn area and up onto the road for our way out! A lovely visit and we would definitely return.

Close to town but a wonderful sense of tranquility over the mountain.

Great hosts. Can easily spend more time there. A good place to unwind and relax.
