Beautiful place, friendly host, great view. It was a wonderful place to stay. Recommend it for anyone.

Amazing! Place was amazing, the view was spectacular and we really had a fabulous time.

Pleasant accommodation, overshadowed by host hostility over accidental spills. The accommodation itself was pleasant, but our experience after checkout was disappointing. We acknowledged and apologised for a few accidental stains, specifically makeup on a towel and a few drops of oil on a green throw in the living room. However, we subsequently received repeated messages requesting R1,200 to replace the towels and throw. Although I understand the importance of maintaining a clean establishment, I found the hosts’ communication unnecessarily harsh and confrontational. What was particularly disappointing was the lack of understanding that accidents can happen, even when guests make an effort to respect the property. We were also asked about paintings supposedly left behind, which did not belong to us, raising concerns about the thoroughness of the cleaning and inspection process. I’ve stayed at several accommodations before and have never experienced this level of hostility over accidental spills. Unfortunately, the communication following our stay overshadowed what could otherwise have been a pleasant experience. I would encourage future guests to be mindful of the hosts’ expectations, as even accidental stains may result in requests for substantial replacement costs.
