Description

West Coast Luxury Tents offers a peaceful escape on a private beachfront farm with no public access. The property is set between Elands Bay (28 km) and Dwarskersbos (30 km), with wide open spaces, fynbos, dunes and a true sense of remoteness.

The accommodation consists of three glamping tents and The Palace, all positioned behind a sea dune for shelter and privacy. None of the units have sea views, but each enjoys a quiet, natural setting with the ocean just a short walk away.

When facing the ocean, Fork South sits to the left, with Middle Fork slightly to the right of it, and Fork North furthest to the right. The Palace is positioned furthest to the left. The three glamping tents follow a line through the fynbos, close enough for families or friends to walk between, yet spaced far enough apart for each to feel private.

Fork North and Middle Fork each sleep up to two guests in a single open-plan tent with a double bed, a private ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet, and a small, fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, induction plate and catering utensils. Each tent has a private braai area.

Fork South sleeps up to four guests. The main tent sleeps two guests in a double bed, with an ensuite bathroom and the same fully equipped kitchenette as the other tents. A small adjacent tent, positioned just next to the main one, offers two single beds for an additional two guests. These two spaces share the bathroom in the main tent. A private braai area is included.

Firewood and ice can be supplied.

From each tent, it is about a 500 metre walk to a beautiful, 40 km stretch of untouched sandy beach.

The Palace is set further apart from the glamping tents, offering a more self-contained stay for larger groups who want their own space while still enjoying the same private farm.

The Palace accommodation offers:
• Three tents: Two tents with double beds, one tent with a queen bed
• Additional Sleeping Space: One bunk bed, one single bed and one sofa bed in the lapa for four children
• A central lapa with a kitchen, fridge, induction plate, microwave, table and chairs, and braai facilities
• A separate ablution with shower and toilet

Sleeps: 10 guests (6 adults and 4 children)
Please note: The Palace requires a 4x4 vehicle for access.

The farm lies close to the Verloren Vlei wetland, an area well known for its birdlife. On the beach you may spot breeding pairs of Black Oystercatchers and their nests, especially in summer. Elands Bay is also known for its world-class surf breaks and its seasonal crayfish run.

This setting allows guests to enjoy real space and privacy, whether booking a single tent or planning a shared stay across multiple units.
