Die Plaat
Description
Die Plaat is one of the few unspoilt beaches that remains in Hermanus in the Western Cape. The beach runs the 12km from the Klein River Lagoon to De Kelder and is well suited for long walks and horse rides. The beach is accessed via Normandie Street in De Kelders, and an entry fee is required. Permitted activities include angling, hiking, and swimming. Please note that the water can get rough.
