Kalahari Kuierfees
Description
The Kalahari Kuierfees (Social Festival) covers a large variety of entertaining and fascinating topics. It is essentially a celebration of sport, indigenous foods, regional products, nature, culture, theatre and, of course, the Afrikaans language.
The Kuierfees is an important date on the Upington social calendar, attracting over 30 000 visitors yearly. It is certainly one of the best organized festivals in South Africa.
The next festival is taking place from 3-5 November 2016.
