"My daughter went horse-riding at Klein Karoo Horse Adventures on the Doornkraal Farm. They have been breeding boerperd there for generations and these gentle horses are a joy to ride - one of my daughter's favourite places to ride with beautiful trails of varying difficulty. The farm is a beautiful spot and you can experience the life of a real working Karoo farm with horses and sheep and a couple of pigs!"
"Wonderful town, excellent wine farms. Lovely people. There are not many places that are super child-friendly in the greater Robertson area, although most wine farms have facilities that can keep children under 5 busy. A very neat town, with minimal litter and a general sense of pride. The Checkers flagship @the Quarter is of the best."
"Great places to explore. Shop for olives, wine, dried fruit, crafts and baked goods along the way. Beautiful scenery."
"Route 62 needs to be appreciated slowly, as the drives are quite long between towns. When ordering cappucino, ask first if they have a machine, else you might just get a Frisco sachet, which tastes just like chai tea. Hi Way gave us friendly and efficient service for a flat tyre and hardly charged us anything for a second-hand tyre, they seem to have branches in most towns. The small Karoo towns need visitors to linger, appreciate, and help the local economy - go there!"
"There's not much to do other than to drive back to Worcester. But if you go there to relax and don't worry about tourist attractions."
