"The nature and scenery at Betty's Bay are amazing, and it's perfect for a chilled, relaxing weekend or an active hiking weekend if the weather is good. Unfortunately, there are only a few restaurants and they often close earlier than expected, but we were still happy with the food and service at Camelot. We would have also liked to see a local market perhaps, but the botanical garden was breathtaking, and the pottery studio was amazing too. Overall a beautiful, relaxing destination."

"Ons ken Dwarskersbos redelik goed omdat ons ook baie in die karavaanpark deur gebring het, was dit tentopslaan of bly in die rondawel of huisies. Dit is 'n heerlike rustige dorpie waar 'n mens kan sit en regtig ontspan en jouself vind met die rustigheid van die dorp en nie die gejaag van die stad nie. Almal op die dorp is regtig baie vriendelik en sal enige iemand aanraai indien jy nog nooit in dwarskwersbos vakansie gehou het nie, gaan gerus en ondervind die rustigeheid wat dit jou bied."

"Veilig en skoon. Een middag laat het ons 'n uitgespoelderob karkas op die strand gesien(by Paradise Beach se strand self) maar die volgende oggend was dit weer skoon, so daar word gewerk daaraan om dit oral netjies te hou. Ongelukkig minag baie honde-eienaars steeds bordjies wat vra dat honde te alle tye aan leibande moet wees en dat eienaars die honde se nommer 2 moet optel en dis aaklig as so iets in die stappaadjie lê. Ek hoop daar sal iets aan gedoen word aangesien my iemand se skaaphond (ten spyte daarvan dat die eienaars hom bly roep het en hy nie geluister het) my man bestorm en heel aggressief gelyk het. Mens is nie lus vir konfrontasies met eienaars en ek hoop die tipe van ding kan opgevolg word sodat almal te alle tye gelukkig is."
