"Nice to spend a day there. Walking along the dam wall was the highlight, amazing feat of engineering. Boat trip on the dam was a bit boring. Saw quite a few varieties of buck at the Nature Reserve. Village is a bit run down. Think there are missed opportunities to draw tourists to the area. Need more activities to be made available for tourists wanting to enjoy the dam, like a restaurant with a deck overlooking the water, small boat hire for people wanting to do their own thing, and abseiling down the dam wall would be awesome."

"Graaf Reinet is a clean beautiful town. There are so many places of interest, the valley of destination at the Camdeboo National park and the Dutch Reformed Church is a must to see. The restaurants, being Coldstream and Pioneers were great, as well as the rum tasting."
