"First time that I would have stayed over in Colesberg and unfortunately not a experience I was hoping for. Colesberg have one of the best Farmstalls where I have eaten the best roosterkoek. Always stop for that when I pass Colesberg."
"Voorwaar 'n juweeldorpie wat besoekers gerus na toe kan afdraai en gaan kuier. Ons het 'n ekstra dag daar spandeer en dit was die moeite werd. Ons wense vir Nieu Bethesda is dat hulle al hoe meer besoekers sal kry wat hulle dorpie geniet. Dis pragtig, rustig, skoon met vriendelike mense."
"Hanover was an unexpected delight. The entrance to the town is not encouraging and if I hadn't had a quick, friendly response from our host when I made the booking, we might well have decided to give Hanover a miss. I am so glad we didn't. It has all the tranquillity and charm one expects from a Karoo town. And we enjoyed the unexpected sight of hundreds of Rock Kestrels - summer visitors from Europe."
